5 Branding Secrets From The Fastest Growing Church In America

5 Branding Secrets From The Fastest Growing Church In America

Jesus Christ does not need a PR firm.  He does not need our help.  As individuals, we do not need to conform God to an image we are comfortable with.  We need to be conformed into His image.  However, church leaders need to be very concerned about how their church is perceived by their community.  What do people think of when they think of your church?  When they hear your church’s name, how does it make them feel?  Your church’s brand is of vital importance.
NewSpring Church, pastored by Perry Noble in Anderson, SC, was recently recognized by Outreach Magazine as America’s fastest growing church.  Started just 15 years ago, the church had over 60,000 in attendance for their Easter weekend services.
The following is a short promotional video about a FREE webinar put on by Joe Sangl and INJOY Stewardship Solutions on Thursday, April 23rd at 2:00 PM EST entitled Church Branding 101.  Joe will be interviewing Ken Wilson, Director of NewSpring Creative.  Ken is over all-things-creative at NewSpring, including storytelling and branding.  You can sign up for the webinar by clicking HERE.

During this one-hour interview, Ken will brilliantly unpack and give great context to the following five ideas and more on the importance of having an effective church brand:
  1. The church’s brand must be born of the vision.  NewSpring had six or seven brands over the church’s 15 years.  The vision never changes.  Its expression and implementation does change.
  2. You have to define your core audience.  Who are you trying to reach?
  3. Feelings matter.  What do you want people to feel when they engage your church?
  4. Your church brand needs to work for you.
  5. Q x A = E.  The quality of your new brand multiplied by the acceptance of the leaders equals the effectiveness of your church’s brand.
One of the privileges of working for INJOY is being part of projects such as this.  If you care about how your church is being perceived by your community, do not miss what Ken has to say.  Once again, click HERE and get signed up today.
