The Top 12 Reasons Christians Do Not Share Their Faith Online
If you are a regular reader of this site you know MAG Bookkeeping, led by Bryan and Shannon Miles, is one of favorite organizations. The reason is because Bryan and Shannon are two of my favorite Christian leaders. If you are a pastor or Christian leader, make sure you click HERE or on the image to the left to learn more about their bookkeeping services.
Just one of the areas the Miles are making an impact is helping advise The 3:15 Project. This organization encourages and empowers Christians in the marketplace to record their testimony on video and then let it be published publicly on the internet.
Below are thoughts from the 3:15 site written by Todd Miechiels. You will find his thoughts on why Christians do not share their faith online quite insightful. You can read the full article by clicking HERE.
Todd says, “it seems to most always boil down to a pride and/or fear.” He goes on to add the most commonly heard reasons for not sharing your faith online are:
- I don’t want to lead with the Christ card.
- I don’t want to diminish the impact of my one on one story.
- I am worried that people wont want to do business with me.
- I am afraid people will think I’m a Jesus freak.
- My spiritual life is private and between me and God.
- I would get in trouble with my company.
- I might offend people who aren’t Christians.
- I’d be held accountable.
- I’m too busy.
- I don’t feel worthy.
- I don’t want to come across as boastful,
- I don’t have a story
