What One Harry Potter Quote Teaches Us About Leadership

I am one of the few people who has not seen any of the Harry Potter movies.  However, I came across a quote from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which has significant impact for all leaders.
Moody told Harry, “Play to your strengths.”  To which Harry responded, “I haven’t got any.”  Moody provided perspective by saying, “Excuse me.  You’ve got strengths if I say you’ve got them.  Think now.  What are you best at?”
When I reviewed The Top 10 Most Read Leadership Posts Of February 2015, the readers told me what the strengths of this site are.  This reminded me to play to my strengths and what I was best at.
In 2014, 11 of the top 17 posts were movie reviews.  The first movie I reviewed in 2015, McFarland USA was February’s top post.  Another strength of this site has always been spotlighting the work of other great Christian leaders.  Six of the top 10 most popular February posts did just that.
Smart leaders play to their strengths and I will continue doing movie reviews and spotlighting Christian leaders moving forward.  The following are The Top 10 Most Read Leadership Posts Of February 2015:
