There are a number of incredible resources currently available to pastors and church leaders.  Often I get asked or have the opportunity to promote a number of them and it is just difficult to give each the promotion it deserves.
Therefore, I want to set aside a post to point you to these quality tools.  The following are 10 Resources All Pastors And Christian Leaders Should Be Aware Of.  Each will make you a better pastor and church leader.
  1. The Global Leadership Summit – Taking place August 11th – 12th, this is one of my favorite conferences of the year.  In fact, I will be backstage at this year’s event as part of the Willow Creek Association’s live blog team.  If you can’t be in the Chicagoland area to see it live, make sure you attend one of their several hundred satellite locations.  Early bird pricing discounts end June 28th.
  2. 7 Challenges Senior Pastors Are Currently Facing, And How To Overcome Them – On June 28th, INJOY Stewardship Solutions is providing a free webinar in which I have the privilege of interviewing Mike Linch, the incredible senior pastor of NorthStar Church.  A lot of pastors will stay in the ministry because of this event.
  3. 7 Lessons From 7 Churches – One of the most insightful resources you can have.  This free PDF report from Church Fuel studies 7 practices of America’s top churches.  These concepts are replicable and can be done in any church of any size.  Also, if you are not investing $35 per month in their Church Fuel One program, do so today by clicking here.
  4. Ministry U – Meetings are an unavoidable part of ministry leadership.  What’s the difference between a productive and effective meeting, and one that sucks the life out of everyone in the room?  Ministry U teaches you how to have staff meetings that move your ministry forward.  Launching on August 1st, click here to get on their email list.  I’ve seen the advanced content and it is extremely helpful.
  5. I Was Broke.  Now I’m Not. – Led by founder and president Joe Sangl, make sure you click Tools and gain access to countless free online budget and investing resources.  These are the very same resources the Dodd family uses to manage our household finances.
  6. Next: Pastoral Succession That Works – Pastoral succession is one of the American church’s current greatest challenges.  In his new book, William Vanderbloemen teaches you how to do it right.
  7. Be Mean About The VisionShawn Lovejoy is one of my favorite Christian leaders.  In his new book, Shawn teaches you how to protect and preserve what matters most – the God-given vision for your church.
  8. 2 Podcasts All Pastors And Christian Leaders Should Listen To – This is a blog post I recently wrote about the The Fully Engaged Church podcast produced by MAG Bookkeeping.  Also, Carey Nieuwhof not-only writes one of today’s most widely-read church leadership blogs but also hosts the top-rated Carey Nieuwhof Leadership Podcast.  Make sure you check them both out.
  9.
