‘Good
news’ should sound like, well, good news to people, right? So why in
the past did I so often dread sharing my faith or the gospel with
someone?
What happened to the Good News? (This should be fun!)
In my new blog/video post
I explain how many of us have actually been taught a very small,
truncated form of the Bible and have probably ended up with a very small
gospel because of it.

The
problem is that for decades the dominant, most frequent teaching and
preaching we’ve been exposed to seemingly leaves Genesis 1 and 2 out of
the Bible, and it also omits Revelation 21 and 22.
The
story is commonly told from Genesis 3, where humans sin, and ends in
Revelation chapter 20 where judgment is coming. And that makes the story
of God–the entre Bible–seem to focus on one thing; human sin and an
inevitable punishment that awaits. [click to continue]
