This is why those who are called to pour into pastors and leaders rather than get things from them stand out so much. If you want to gain influence with a pastor or leader, serve them. Serve them consistently over time and ask for nothing in return. And serve them well.
I was reminded of this principle as I looked back at The Top 10 Most Read Posts of January 2016. 7 to the Top 10 posts involved resourcing pastors and church leaders with information, books, tools and resources to make them more successful. Not surprisingly, January 2016 was also the most read month in this site’s history.
