  2. If I’d known how great grandbabies were going to be I would have been nicer to their parents.
  3. It is our job to help folks get perspective.
  4. The definition of leading is you got there first.
  5. Leaders pull. Bosses push.
  6. I don’t have employees. I have 544 team members.
  7. We are very intentional with the idea of inspiring people.
  8. Organizations that don’t create a culture of inspiration flounder.
  9. Have you ever been in a church where nobody’s happy?
  10. Inspired teams change the whole customer experience.
  11. If you don’t have an inspired experience you’ll be blaming the economy when you go out of business. It’s not the economy. It’s a lack of leadership.
  12. Can you imagine about being inspired about heating and air? You can if you own the company.
  13. Your organization has to create an inspired experience. It has to be on purpose and it’s not an accident.
  14. Inspiration touches the emotions and it causes activity.
  15. Your customers are people. And if you’re inspired you create a relationship, not a transaction.
  16. The devil hates it when you take notes.
  17. You have to constantly be talking about where you’re going.
  18. You want to go out business? Where there is no vision….roadkill. Dead animal in the road. Perish.

  20. Capitalism chews up a lack of excellence and spits it out. You’ve got to bring it.
